NEW JERSEY FOUNDATION FOR LITERACY & EDUCATION

Our education initiative helps make learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful for children. Through in-class educational materials and literacy-based activities, we give students the essential reading, writing, comprehension, and critical-thinking skills they need to succeed in school and continue learning throughout their lives.

Our Community Outreach Program connects individuals and families with the resources and support they need. We collaborate with local officials, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders to identify the most pressing challenges facing our communities. Together, we develop practical solutions, provide assistance, and help improve the lives of people in need.

We partner with local food pantries to help individuals and families receive the nutritious food and essential supplies they need. We are dedicated to fighting hunger, supporting families during difficult times, and caring for the neighbors right here in our own backyard. By working together, we can help ensure that no one in our community has to face hunger alone.

Through Alyssa’s Closet, we help local children and families in need stay warm throughout the winter. This program accepts monetary and winter clothing donations to purchase and provide new coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and other essential cold-weather items. With the support of our generous community, we are committed to ensuring that every local family has access to the winter clothing they need.
